Home comforts - apart from going to the shop we haven't ventured more than 20 yards from the house. I am still not feeling that good, I can't remember a cold lasting this long. I have been sorting through the thousands of photos making backups. Liz has been sleeping in, making nice meals and catching up with her hobby of wine drinking.
Dave seemed to be up for a bit of a party. He was not taking any chances, he appeared with his famous spangly trousers and a red silky shirt - strangely suited him. Sarah then disappeared and came back in fancy dress. Dave disappeared and came back with a pile of fancy dresses that we could pick from. I put kids dresses on one leg and both arms. Suitable cheese music was selected: Abba, Tom Jones, Pogues etc. A torch on a glitter ball provided the lightening. Add some alcohol and you have a fancy dress party. The kids were initially lapping it up but in a typical Absolutely Fabulous way decided to sit it out when things got more silly.
