Feeling a bit better today, thought this cold has gone through many stages. We headed off to Kirikiri in the far North of the North island to meet Sarah and Dave who emigrated out here. We got on the main route still a half empty single carriageway making sure we could stop if a stray Hobbit found itself on the road. After Oz (even rainy Melbourne) the countryside is uber green, rolling and very pretty. If it wasn't for the odd fern tree you would think you were in South East Scotland. The weather is probally about 17 degrees C with showers.
After a lot of difficulty we arrived at Dave and Sarahs idyllic (but unfinished) house in the woods. A lot of time was needed to be caught up on.
