Arrived in Longreach all safe and sound. Drive from Mt Isa was nice through to Cloncurry and then the landscape become very barren. Can't believe the cattle can survive out here. The amount of road kill was amazing. In one km I counted 41Roos, 1 emu and 3 pigs, would hate to drive this at night. Lots of road trains.
We decided on a motel for the night to have a break from setting up camp. Wish we hadn't, the beds were terrible!
Visited the Qantas museum and spent a few hours there. Excellent tour and a great place to visit.
Unfortunately the Stockmans Hall of Fame show did not show on Mondays so we decided to move on and we have set up camp at Tambo.
Tomorrow we will leg it down to Morree and all going well we will be home Wednesday night.
