On our way to the tiger reserve we stopped off in the deserted city of Fatephur Sikri, it took 12 years to build and the population was marched from Agra, but they were only there 4 years due to lack of water supply! The place was huge and eerie. We had a tuk-tuk ride to the top which was fun. The next stop was Keoldaeo national park where we sat in rickshaw and did some bird watching (very peaceful might I add).
After another 4 hours we arrived at our hotel, which is very plush, even more so as we are 2 of 6 guests! We had a day and a half safari which is 9 hours in total, we saw crocs, jackels, leopards, gazelle, loads of deer and birds and finally after 8 hrs when our spirits were low a tiger had been spotted so our jeep made a dash for it and out walked a huge tiger infront our jeep only 10 yrds away, wow!
