We boarded another train and went for the day to visit Hiroshima which everyone knows was the city that was destroyed by the the worlds first Atomic Bomb which ended World War 2.
We started by visiting one of the only buildings which was not totally destroyed. It was kept as a reminder of what happened while a brand new modern city was built around it.
We then went to the Memorial park and Museum which was quite emotional to say the least.
Lets all hope that something like this never happens again. We headed back to Kyoto late in the afternoon and thought we would cheer ourselves up by having Noodles for dinner. We went to a little place which has been making their own Noodles since the 1700's.
Unfortunatlly it was our last night in Kyoto. A wonderful city . We packed up ready to head for Osaka for our last night in Japan.
