Dalat Honeymoon city. dalat is situated in the highlands settling in the mountain lovely to smell clean air again!! We took a trip out with some local boys who call themselves EASY RIDERS on their 150cc go fast machines WOW not exactly true but we had a great day with them. they took us into local villages to see silk worm factories 4 different processes 4 different families producing their bit. Stopped to see local farmers working in their fields all in traditional dress growing strawberries and many other veg. Its amazing how diverse their farms are. They are learning about irragation and rotation of crops allowing themselves to be self sufficient and exporting to many places in the world. Tulips, Roses to Amsterdam Yeah true!! The part Mark enjoyed best was the blacksmith who was making farming tools out of bombshells We enjoyed our day so much we are taking a 3 day trip with them later in the week. Enough of motomen we decide to take off on mountain bikes of course with a guide first we have to get out of city pretty hair raising stuff close your eyes and keep pedalling!! Once into the Forest we are off road onto some pretty steep gradients and technical climbs. Brilliant fun Descents were the best!! Lunch was provided by our guide and our cafe open air sitting on the ground with table cloth we were at the top of the biggest hill so far with some amazing views. what a place to dine. Mark took some tumbles Hai our guide was concerned if he was enjoying himself YES I replied hes loving it!!. Me I took a leap down a steep bank after bailing out on a downhill section. No broken bones only bruised pride. GREAT DAY!!
