Pushkar was heading back westward which seems a little crazy.. Its because of the Elephant festival in Jaipur threw out all logical itinery..

Anyway 1 train journey -2 bus journies we arrive at Pushkar hill station a holy city.. So NO well earnt beer tonight..!!

We head off for the lake and get caught by local's to take Puja, Which is a blessing for your family and giving gift of flowers and fruit into the lake.. Catch they then ask for a donation and scoff at anything less than $10.

The idea of visiting was to visit the 2 hill top temples sunrise & sunset.. Guess what we didnt do either. We found a good hotel with a rather splendid pool. The thought of climbing either of the hills was just too much..

Pushkar is a lovely place just to hang out & relax. Thats exactly what we did..

Next Stop Agra. Taj Mahal, Yeah!!! highlight for me one of my must do before I die...
