11th 14th March Mt Abu.

6hrs on a very noisy bus again.!! However it is always great fun!! Never know what going to happen as we are climbing the last mountain range. Black face apes are all over the road, The lady behind us throws out her unwanted chapatti straight into the face of an over taking motorcyclist much to everyone laughter on the bus the cyclist can only stop and feed the apes. It can only happen in India!!

Mt Abu is the only hill station in Rajasthan so it would seem wrong to miss it A lake dug out of the wild landscape. supposebly dug out by hand by one of their gods. There is NO underwater system to keep the lake flooded however it never dries out amazing eh!!!

We enjoyed 3 days trekking hunting for the sloth bear saw many footprints, droppings, holes, scars on trees BUT NO BEARS!!! Thats OK cause it is a beautiful place to hang for few days. One of the land marks is the Delawara Temple not just another temple this one looked like ice creams intricately carved in marble.

We met up with another english couple here who are great fun to be with. We all agreed it would be fun to travel together for a few days...
