Despite the fact that three of us hadn't been to sleep, Colonia del Sacramento was yet another hilarious day out! By this point, we all felt like we had known each other forever and we were all relaxed in each other's company. We were joined by Ben and Aimee, some friends Anand and Jonny had met earlier in their trip, and they only ended up adding to the madness and mayhem. We all slept the one hour journey across the waters to Colonia and arrived in the sunshine, a little confused as to what to do next!!Colonia, as it's name suggests, is a quaint little colonial town, and it was great to just wander around for the day, taking in the cobbled streets and few remaining colonial structures. We sat on the beach and the view overlooking the water was simply stunning.Although we all fell asleep at some point, it was nice to just sit and do nothing, especially after the last few mad days in BA.We went to a lovely, colourful restaurant for lunch, where more banter (and headbutting - Anand!) ensued, and later watched the sunset over the river from another café, with a few drinks. The only "cultural" thing we managed in Colonia, was a trip to the smallest aquarium you have ever seen, which included a "sleeping" fish that the attendant assured us wasn't dead, and fish with excrement longer than their bodies!! It really was that exciting! As the day drew to a close, we headed back to the harbour and caught the boat back to BA?
