We've got a bit of a colour now!! Yesterday morning we booked ourselves onto a movie star homes tour which took us through Beverley Hills, Bel Air and Mulholland Drive. We saw the homes of people like J-Lo, Leonardo Dicaprio, John Travolta to name a few. They are absolutely massive. They also pointed out some movie location such as the Pretty Woman fire escape and the church used in Sister Act. They also stopped so that we could get pictures of the Hollywood sign. Towards the end, we drove round some of the celebrity haunts but unfortunately did not get to see any of them. We also drove down Rodeo Drive but we will go for a closer look later this week. However, this morning we may have sighted Nickie Hilton but it is unconfirmed. Last night we went to a mexican fast food. Never seen anything like it but it was delicious. Afterwards we wandered over to the chinese theatre and had a look at all the celeb hand prints and signatures. We have also nearly walked the whole walk of fame and have had our pictures done with some of them which you can see soon once we have found somewhere that we can upload them.
Today we took a bus down to Santa Monica and then walked along to Venice Beach. We also saw muscle beach but unfortunately not many people working out. We think this is where the worlds strongest man is held. It was quite a walk and we did not realise the temperature, especially walking past all the hippy and art stalls. It was like stepping back in time. We then went to lay on the beach for a little which was very relaxing. Unfortunately there was no sightings of Mitch though. We got back to the hostel and we are little red lobsters. It's an early start tomorrow as we are off to Vegas and to see the Grand Canyon. Still very busy at the moment and we will be looking forward to relaxing in Fiji next week. We'll update when we are back from Vegas and you will hopefully have some pictures to look at aswell. x x x
Ps We quite like the life in L.A. We could easily live here with the big houses, nice cars and little dogs. It seems to go from one extreme to the other out here as we have never been asked for money as much from the homeless and they all seem a bit out of it.
