Afternoon trip to see some of the places where the programmes we watch are filmed. First to Tanked, where we met the general. A lovely man who could talk for England. Then off to Counts kustoms, no Danny but we met a few of the other guys. Then Ricks restoration for a look around and quick view of the bone yard. Then Johnny's toy shop and Jays sports memorabilia shop. Both owners were there and were happy to have photos taken. The two shops were in down town Vegas so we had an opportunity to see The Freemont Street project. It's about the rejuvenation of the original Vegas strip. We saw the very first Casino built by Bugsy Segal.
Then off to the location of Pawn Stars. This was a really good trip our guide was one of the original Las Vegas dancers. She told some amazing stories of how it was when the mob ran Vegas. Although now they don't have such a visible face.
We had planned on going to Ramseys BurGR but the wait for a table was an hour so we'll go tomorrow.
