G'Day Guys

It is really starting to hot up here now and by 8am it was boiling hot. As we leave today on the overnight bus to Airlie Beach we decided to spend the majority of the day at the marina that they have here.

We stopped for morning tea and watched the whale watching boats going out for the day before walking along the coastline to the huge long pier that they have here it used to be 256 metres longer than it is now. It was a 1.5km walk in the hot sunshine so we decided to stop at a local cafe for lunch and a drink before attempting the walk back in the heat.

Just sat in the hostel doing the unglamorous part of travelling and sat waiting for our courtesy bus to take us to the bus station at 5pm for the 13 hour overnight bus to Airlie Beach and gateway to the Whitsunday Islands where we hope to do a tour to visit a few of the islands.

Mel has finally been attacked by the mossies and is scratching like a flea bitten dog!!!!
