The day after the Full Moon Party we slept for half a day to recover.. We had some dinner and sat on our Decking over looking the Beach on the picture for this blog and watched a storm out at Sea.. was really cosy! We had decided we wanted to go to see a Thai Boxing match.. but Mar was feeling a bit ill so we chilled out for a bit untill it passed! It was only us and Sean as the girls were out and Lucas had no money, so we got a taxi with the owner of the resort and made it to the stadium on Koh Pha-Ngan.. It was halfway thru and there were 4 fights left out of 7. We paid 500 Baht each and ended up blagging Ring side seats which were meant to be 700 baht. Wahoo! It was amazing - These guys are the size of 15 year old's but man can they fight! They actually just kicked the crap of each other, and we found ourselves getting right into it - although Mar was a bit uneasy at the pure violence at first. One fight stood out from the rest as it was this little guy against a bigger and obviously much more experienced fighter.. but the smaller one turned out to be a great boxer and kept pounding this guy in the face, but he took it like a Thai fighter and ended up kicking the crap of the small one ( who had a broken ankle at the end!) It's deffinetly something to see if your in Thailand! after the fights we got back to the bungalows - Thanx sean for paying for the taxi! and we crashed out in alovely new beach side hut. We Were so tierd and had to be up early the next day, as we were off to Koh Tao..
