We finally arrived back in the UK after lots of delays from New York. We were met by Mum, Dad, Joy and Rob at Heathrow airport. After saying our hellos it was time to head home on a dreary Monday morning in England, after 7 months travelling. Holly took the car with Mum, Dad and Joy and Laura went back with Rob - Laura thought she had made the bum choice when Holly and co. whizzed by with wine glasses of fizzy stuff and a Terry's chocolate orange! But it was just Mum's lack of normal cups, and they were drinking flavoured water!

First stop was Laura's house to see the huge Lizzie dog, who had doubled in size since Laura saw her, and the baby cats; Henry and Daisy. After the initial excitement Laura started to notice the changes Rob had made to the house; decorated lounge, new garden and....a bar!!! World Cup Fever obviously got to Rob while his girlfriend was away and he saw the need for a bar - not a little summer house but a full sized bar with beer pumps, fridge, make-shift cellar, the lot!!

We then headed to Holly and Mum's house to see the cats Thelma and Louise....and more surprises, Holly's newly decorated room, which she feared may have become a study! That afternoon Holly managed to get some much needed sleep, while Laura made visits to Mary and Sandra.

That night we met our friends and family at The Bridge Brewery for a much needed, and missed Cherry wine and a catch up and then we headed for a typical Englsih meal - a curry at Manzil's! A perfect end to the most amazing 7 months of our lives!
