Yesterday we just hung out at the pool then went for a Lebanese meal near Jen and Neil's house at night. Today was Grahams 65th birthday and we were meeting at Burj al Arab where we had a reservation in the sky view bar for afternoon tea. The hotel was as expected, really blingy with gold everywhere, expensive looking but not necessarily my cup of tea. Anyway, the afternoon was delightful and was enjoyed by all. As we also had a reservation later for dinner at a Thai restaurant in the Palace hotel downtown, we headed back to the hotel for a wee lie down before it was time to eat again! Dinner was really good, Andrew and I shared a prawn dish and a sea bass dish, both were delicious. As all evening should be completed, we finished with a espresso martini in the bar.
