On our first day we decided to take the metro to JBR and the marina to have a wonder around and get some lunch. It wasn't too hot so I was a pleasant stroll around before heading back to the hotel to get ready before Jennifer, Neil, Graham and Ros joined us at our hotel where we had dinner in the Italian restaurant. The food was good, they had a special truffle menu in and as Andrew and I both love truffle we both chose a dish from the special menu and really enjoyed it. I had truffle and cepe parpadelle and Andrew had truffle risotto with braised veal cheeks.
