Day 120 - Bangkok

Another lie in :) we have our breakfast/dinner and decide we should really go and see Khao San Road before we leave Bangkok so hop in a taxi outside the hotel.

It is about a 10 minute drive from where we are staying and for some reason no matter what time of day it is here the traffic is really bad no wonder everyone drives scooters. We arrive at Khao San Road and are surprised at how small it actually is, you can walk from one end to the other in about 5 minutes, however, it is exactly how you expect it to be. There are people coming at you from all angles trying to sell you stuff from tat to diplomas and wedding dresses.

We have a look round and then just around the corner to a market that is known for selling lots of knock offs but the quality is not nearly as good as the ones in the MBK and because of how touristy the area is its like twice the price ... pass I think!

After exhausting all of the stalls and not really finding any bargains we jumped in a taxi back to the hotel.

As we'd had a late lunch we didn't really feel hungry enough for tea so just made the most of the snacks and drinks that we'd bought last night.

We watched a few more of our programs and Si did some research on who he wanted to do his tattoo so we could go and see them tomorrow on our last day in Thailand.
