Day 16 - Las Vegas

Happy birthday to me, Happy birthday to me etc etc .....
We head off downstairs for a breakfast Burrito (mmmm egg potatoes sausage and cheese in a tortila for breakfast i love mexican food!) and then we head to the casino. We hit the fruitys and Rhona puts $2 in a minute later she's upto $16 and cashing out! She moves to another machine and bam another $14 from her $1 game, this pattern repeats itself over our entire stay in vegas and soon we don't even have to gamble any money we just use her winning tickets to win more n more money

We venture out on to the strip and Rhona spots a pirate with a parrot for a small tip she's allowed to wear the hat and have the parrot on her shoulder and pose for the pictures you see on the blog (she was well chuffed)

We head back to the room after a couple hours to change and get on the beers. She has a couple of surprises booked the 1st of which is a meal at 1 of the best Japanese restaurants in Vegas called KOI, we have some Edamame (Soybeans boiled and served in the pod) and a huge bottle of beer (Rho goes for a Sake appletini) then we both decide on the Duck which is superb! we finish off the meal with a massive ice cream sunday with lots of chocolate sauce with brownies and cream in it .. was ace!

Next we head off to a different bar for a quick drink before the 2nd of my surprises, we head downstairs to the car park and theres a limo waiting .. we jump in and i'm still clueless to where we're going, after a drive down the strip we end up at the airport and there's a helicopter waiting for us :) we're doing a night flight over the strip! We take off and within minutes are over the neon lights, it looks amazing from the air and i'd defo recommend it! when we land we're chauffeured back to our hotel and we hit the roulette table and more fruity machines so Rho can win us our millions $1 at a time!

We go to get a couple yards of cocktails and end up a lil bit tipsy, eventualy early hours we stumble back to the room and pass out .. was an excellent birthday and 1 i shall always remember!

Oh and thanks for all the birthday wishes too they were much appreciated (apologies i didn't reply to all the emails we didn't have internet in the room till the day after!)
