Had a great final night in Vienna. We all went to the Prater which is a giant fairground There were some hugely scarey rides but our destination was the restaurant Schweiserhaus We were without our guide and interpreter but eventually they found 1 menu in English The place's specialty is the pork knuckle which is really a pork roast Fellow traveler David and I decided to share The album will show the task in front of us With a little help from a few others we did finish it
Next day was a 3 hour bus trip in a comfortable privately hired mini bus This took us through rolling countryside and crossing the border into the Czech Republic to a town called Cesky Kumlov Apart from the tourists it looks like a town from bout 2/3 centuries ago with a river meandering through it it is a picturesque scene in every direction we looked. It all looks like something from a fairy tale, complete with a castle on the hill.
It was an adventure afternoon. We taken in a van up into the mountains and let loose on bikes. Apart from a couple of lung bursters early, it was down hill through beautiful forest until we got back to town One of the Melbourne girls took a fall . She made it back but has a very sore wrist and a few scrapes
The evening meal was in in a place that it undoubtedly the most beautiful place I have had a meal. We shared a Bohemian Pheasant platter. Quite a few new things.

She asked me not to collect her wearing my gym clothes this week - cheeky! I think she meant it was a bit out of order because on Tuesdays I drop her off in my gym gear but then collect her in other clothes. Wendy Travis and I stayed at Cesky Krumlov and loved it, 3 different local trains, from Prague! Travis kept bumping his head on low doorways! All that food sounds wonderful! Enjoy!

We've enjoyed following/reading your blogs, we have responded to each blog but we are unable to see them ....soooooooo hope you are getting them! Crows play bombers in a twilight game on Sunday,Bombers were shocking last week, they'll probably come out playing like champs against us!!
