After a bloody long day we woke up to it ******* rain, not a good start we thought. The rain eased off about 7.30am. Wandered to breakfast to be presented with a fantastic array of food. Went for a stroll outside the resort to see what is around, not much is the answer. The resorts are fantastic but it is not like Kuta Beach or Seminyak where you have a great choice of bars and restaurants. We grabbed a cab to downtown Danang to have a look around. Now for the traffic. Definitely not as congested as Bali but road rules seem to be a rough guide and not compulsory. What is compulsory seems to be the use of the horn, everyone blasts their horn for going past, turning and anything else. Doing bats*** crazy manoeuvres seems to be ok if you blast on your horn. There are pedestrian crossings everywhere but I think they are there for the amusement of the drivers and riders. It seems you either do not have the right of way, or they just like riding very close to scare the **** out of you. Had a few beers at the draft house at the resort next door. They have these huge bonsai plants out the front. Beers are cheap ranging from 70c - $2 per bottle Early night, heading to Hoi An tomorrow
