Great start, we have been allocated 1A and 1C for the first leg. Two hours in Perth then about 8 hours to Hong Kong. Spent a few hours in the Qantas Business Lounge and had a few beers while waiting to board. Flight to Perth was fine, great food. Two hour stop over in Perth, enough time for a bit of duty free and a few more drinks in the lounge. The great thing about airline lounges (apart from the free drinks) is the ability to have a quick shower. Felt refreshed after being on the go since 6am. Cathay Pacific Business Class was fantastic. Had a baileys just after boarding then got about 4 1/2 hours sleep in the lay flat bed with pillow, blanket and eye mask care of the Cathay Pacific Business comfort pack. As soon as I woke they offered breakfast and lots of coffee. Hong Kong airport is probably the most efficient I have been to. Probably about 5 minutes to wait in queue and clear immigration, our luggage was on the carousel when we got there and walked straight through customs. Now just waiting for the shuttle bus to the hotel
