Holiday is now over. Waited outside the hotel for the organised lift. They never turned up, The hotel rang them and they had us listed at another hotel even though our doco showed the correct one, at least they organised a taxi to take us to the airport at no charge. The Qantas Club at Honolulu Airport is a joke, internet unusable and food/beverage a joke but hey all we wanted to do was get home. While sitting in the aircraft waiting to taxi out we sat their watching the F-35 Joint Strike Fighters taking off and landing on Hickam Field. Impressive looking aircraft. Dont know if I mentioned this before but the Qantas flights were on the older planes where the tv screen is on the bulkheads, impossible to watch. The flight was uneventful and arrived in Sydney about an hour ahead of schedule and 5pm.
