p.s. soooo sorry. My messages are becoming uncontrollably long. You'd better get home quick before they crash the entire world wide web system. Uh-oh.

Hello lovelies!! Happy New Year again!!!!!!! (and another belated Merry Christmas!).
Meh, just bought a new computer and the keyboard is most odd so typing is weird. Anyhow, lush updates as usual. I can't believe you bumped into a friend from Reading in Malaysia just as your money was stopped, that's incredible! Just goes to show that (if you believe in that stuff) there's someone watching over you keeping you safe eh? Are you sad to say goodbye to Oz? When we were out there, we were told that Townsville is such a small place that from a distance you can see that the streetlamps spell out 'HELL' but I don't know if that's true!
I can't believe you'll be home soon!! I know everyone will want to know this, and be booking you in already no doubt, but make sure you let us know when we can see you asap!! I can't do the 16th Jan as - would you believe it - I'm going to a NKOTB concert!! Ha ha ha!!
As for us, not looking forward to going back to work on Monday after having over 2 weeks off! Though to be honest, it will feel like a rest after dashing between South Wales, North Wales, South Wales, Basingstoke and back and trying to catch up with everyone. Absolutely shattered! It's been nice though. Caught up with the Cardiff guys a few times which was fab. Though one night we were all supposed to go for a meal and Wil and Lel turned up 24 hours early....nothing changes (except at least they weren't late. But then they didn't turn up at all the following aka correct night!!)
Kate and I were talking about booking in a time to meet up but we could make it when you're back now! Amazing!! Saying that, I'm sure you'll have lots to be doing, resting etc, but if you think it's poss then great! Mind you, I'm sure you just want to enjoy your last couple of weeks rather than thinking about getting home. Though, one thing to think about....if you fancy cycling from John O'Groats to Land's End with us in the summer, you better get training soon! I'll perhaps chat more about that next time...think I've written enough for now! SORRYY!!!
Love you both loads, can't WAIT to see you.

Hello both,
We hope that you had a good, if unconventional , Christmas. We had a great time with Linda and John and the family. We are still in sunny Steyning at the minute but are returning home tomorrow, together with L & J who are staying with us for a week over New Year. I am just about to write an e mail to you to bring you up to date with our news.
You have been in our thoughts all over Christmas and we have missed you both. We are very much looking forward to seeing you in January.
Take care and have fun.
Love you lots, mum and Dek xxxxxxxxx

Hi there,
Well I just read your last post. It sounds like you have been having a great time!! Yeah you gotta watch out for those pesky crocs, however Mair don't you remember those really sexy all-in-one stinger suits you can wear to stop from getting stung???
Hopefully you are now both enjoying Thailand and that it will be a christmas you will always remember.
Take care of yourselves and we will see you on the next round.
lots of big hugs and kisses,
Nicky, Mick and Indy

Hello both,
I have just done one of my usual epic e mails to catch you up on our news. Everything is fine here. It has been the usual pre Christmas madness and we are now living in Santas Grotto with continuous Christmas music. Poor Dek! Good job it's only once a year!
Off to Linda's tomorrow for a week over Christmas. We will miss you both but are glad that you are having such a great time. I don't think that it will be 33 degrees where we are going
Off now to wrestle with the suit case.
Love and miss you, mum and Dek xxx

Hey all,

Thanks again for all your messages, we love them! Hope you are all well and getting into the Christmas spirit. It still feels like august to us, especially since its 33 degrees!
lots of love

Hello lovelies!
Loving the recent posts (though there were a few so had a good read!). LOVED the towel story....brilliant!! It seems like you've had some awesome luck with brilliant boat trips and horses etc..must be the honeymoon luck eh? I also chuckled when you said Auckland had the tallest tower in the 'Southern Hemisphere'...I remember in NZ and Oz everything was the 'biggest in the Southern Hemisphere' or the 'longest in the Southern Hemisphere' etc!! There's so much more stuff in the Northern Hemisphere clearly!
Anyway, what's happening yer then. Well, Dave's got loads of coursework so he's going to have some work to do over Christmas. We're spending Christmas together this year so we're here, there and everywhere over the holiday period. As you can imagine, the Disc debate has begun but think Rach W has got in there early and said 'Grape and Olive and I'll see you there'...probably a sensible approach!
I finish for Chrimble on Thursday, cannot blimmin wait! 19 days off whoop-di-dooo!! Though doesn't really compare to 5 months, but hey ho, must make the most of small mercies.
Keep blogging, it's so amazing reading your stories (and wishing I was there still!). By the way Mai, your shoe might turn up you never know. When I was in Kenya, I lost my travel fork and about a week later we went to stay in the gardens of this hotel and I found it buried in some mud. I don't have a clue how that happened, it must have followed me there...or burrowed its way through Kenyaland to arrive where we would be reunited. Very weird.
Love to you both, still missing you as ever x x x x x

G'day! Well thats original isn't it?
Have just tried to have a look at the photos but it wouldn't let me on. It said something about access violation. I have looked at the ones on face book and have followed links on others where you have been tagged so have seen a few. It all looks great and you both lok well and happy which is great too.
I have just sent you an e mail catching you up with our news so when you have an hour to spare and are near a computer you can have a lok. I do try to keep them short! I've just got all this love to pour out!
