Ivan dropped me and dad to Luton. Checked bags in and slow people in front. I had accidentally booked us checked in bags then carry on ones but thankfully it wasn't to bad in the end. Went to boots to get lunch and bits and then boarded. Patsy picked us from the airport and went back and saw Kieran and Sheila and Louise soon after. Had beef dinner went to Sarahs around 7.30 for 40m mins to say hi, then went to Patsys and saw Gez, John, Teresa, Matt, Gerard, Gerard P and Richella when she briefly came in. Was really lovely to see everyone. We left around 10.15. Bed around 11.15ish
Awake in the night when someone went toilet around 3.30. I woke around 7.30ish had breakfast (Patsy made us a fry up) Kieran and Louise went to get hair and make up done. We then got ready and went church which was over an hour away in Claremorris. The service didn't start until 2.10 -40 mins late, Richella did the traditional thing of being late. It was about an hour long and then there were lots of pictures after. The reception in Baliingnare at a hotel, Northern Ireland I think. We got there for 6.20 , they did prosseco or Jamiesons and forrero rocheo which I enjoyed. The dinner we sat down at 7.30. Mushroom and chicken vol en vouts, leek and potato soup, chose turkey over beef and then a trio of desserts. Not long after dinner and speeches they brought out some sarnies and chips but there was no way I was eating that after a massive dinner. Band came on and had a dance but dad spoke to his brothers and old friends all night. We left at 2.15. Sheila bless her drove all day. It was a lovely day with family we haven't seen in a long time.
Sunday awake at 9.20 and Sheila took us to the airport. We got some meat- sausages and black/white pudding at the airport and had a water and sausage roll. I was sat further back this time on the plane and we got a Burger King when we landed as were hungry by then. Saw Hoda's son in BK with her mum which was funny. Ivan collected us, helped eat the chips and was home around 3 to see my men. A lovely weekend spent with my dad and family celebrating my cousins wedding.
