Kate in Madrid

Today we went to Cuenca - Casas Colgadas. Cuerca is a city at the junction of two rivers. All these houses are built into the cliffs - and to provide space, they build off the walls of the house - balconies and other rooms. It is really cool. It was a gorgeous pueblo - probably one of my favorite places in Spain so far. I would not mind buying a vacation home there. That way if it falls off the cliff I likely won't be there when it happens.
About 11 of us had a huge lunch that basically cost us about 6 dollars each more or less. Potatoes, cheese, lomo and papas fritas, and baskets of bread. Then the hugest bocadillos you've ever seen. It was great. I am still full.
P.S. I decided I NEED to get a motorcycle license. There are a million motocicletas here and I am getting jealous of the people who know how to drive them. Not only that. . .those motorcyclists know a thing or two about bringing sexy back.
