Well here I am. . .just over a month away from leaving for Madrid. I still only have 1200 dollars to my name. I need 2000. I still need to pay for a new 200 dollar camera, a new backpack, and clothes and supplies for the trip. Needless to say, I am a little worried. My spanish isn't doing all that great either. I am getting more and more excited for the trip, however, and I'll keep updating thoughts and progress of my preparation up to departure on Sep 2.
