Our Amazing Trip to the West
Wednesday 7th June 2017
We had our morning tea stop at the Head of the Bight in SA on the Nullarbor. It was a beautiful day, now up to 26 degrees and we were very excited to 5 or 6 Southern Right Whales.
The cliff top walkway, viewing platforms and the Visitor's Centre here are first-class. The views from the walkway of the Bunda Cliffs were just spectacular and the water was just so clear and blue. No wonder the whales love the area!
We spent a couple of hours just watching these amazing creatures swimming lazily around in this awesome place. They did seem to swim around quite slowly and we presumed this was because they were pregnant and just taking their time.
