Day 13 Fraser Island

we left the farm early and started another pretty long drive to Fraser Island via a few more places such as Childers! the weirdest and creepest place on earth thankfully we were only there for 45mins, for that reaseon. we then drove further down and stopped at another place called Harvey bay to pick up supplies for Fraser Island, and it was where I made the greatest purchase in shopping history, a 6pound pair of the softest pjs ever for our pyjama party that night (see the facebook pics) we then got a short ferry over to Fraser island where we settled into our eco lodges and got ready for the night. the pics our all on facebook and pretty much describe everything the bear i adopted was called Fraser. we spent the night in the Dingo bar and had a really good night, only tainted by to horrible barmaids, who ironically had a sign saying the dingo bar b****es...they werent wrong! there was alot of complaint made about them. cant really think of anymore to say about it, the pics tell it all..

Day 14

Still on Fraser island, we rented a 4x4. Fraser island is the largest sand island on earth and unique as it has a rainforest growing out of it. me darren, 3 essex guys sam,ben and louis and 3 swiss girls, coreen, maryel (not sure how its spelt) and steph, spent the day driving round..visiting Lake mckenzie an incredible little bay with the bluest clearest water, elie creek and a shipwreck, where darren comcquered his fear. he oddly and quite rightly got abuse for having a fear of shipwrecks for no reason. i made him go over and touch it. he did well. i realise all this needs to be backed up by photos, its hard to imagine it, but the scenery all over oz is incredible, i didnt expect it to be so green and mountainous some how
