After a good nights sleep, woke up looking forward to the day ahead as travelling to Colca Canyon which is suppose to be spectacular, but not looking forward to the full days of travelling ahead. It is the longest travel day so far, 12 hrs drive, 7hrs drive there, 3hrs at the canyon and 5 hrs drive to Chivay. But quess what.... cant believe my luck.....im finally over my alcohol poisioning but now I have the trots-doh!!! Just my luck, on the longest travelling day, with no toilets on the bus, and driving through barren, desolate area, with no toilets anywhere, gonna have to do the the living in the rough thing and poo in the open-great!!! The only consolation is that im not the only one who has a runny bum, as at last 15 others on the bus has exactly the same, so I have fellow poo comrades, Il cover your arse if you cover mine...... So armed with my toilet paper we set off on what turned out to be one of the worse but funniest days ever. It was something like off 'carry on camping'. Were was a continuous chorus of farts and the bus was filled with methane gas, you couldnt light a naked flame as the whole bus would have gone up. We had to stop every half an hour and half of the bus would rush out and find the best cover they could, but there was very little cover, but after the first poo you become blarsay about bearing your arse to everyone-what better way to get to know each other. Colcan Canyon was spectacular but not a scratch on the Grand Canyon. So after walking around the canyon for a few hours we boarded the bus (after a poo obviously) and set off on the 5 hr drive to Chivay and small town where I had an early night, well spent most of the time back and forth the toilet, I actually fell asleep on the toilet....lets hope im better for the next day as it is another nightmare drive of 11 hrs to Cusco.....fingers crossed, aye
