Well we finally made it to Milan and we were all really excited to finally be in the fashion capital of the world except that it wasn't at all what we had originally expected. We went first to the hotel that we were staying at which looked really nice from the inside but being such a big group they couldn't really accomodate us so we got lucky and for the first time all summer we got out own rooms for a night, It was so peaceful yet being alone for the first time in a month and a half in many ways it was lonely because it was like well uh who do I talk to/what to do now that there isnt anyone around.. so instead of sitting around bored I found a bunch of movies from the states on TV but dubbed in other languages so I had a cultural experience watching so many movies I had already seen but in a different language-- it was very intresting. The next morning we walked around Milan for our first day. For most of the day we visited a bunch of art museums which were really cool and different than what we were use to seeing in the states. That night we then had an apertivo at a place called Franks.
