We eased in to our journey to Belize by splitting it into a day trip to Tulum and then a bus/boat journey to Caye Caulker. Landed safe and sound (yes it is possible Ryanair) we got our bags fine - probably should have mentioned that my boyfriend's bag didn't make the first leg of our journey but it arrived before we left for Cancun so no biggie (different story if it were my bag.)
