Hi All I am writing this from another airport lounge awaiting my flight to Tahiti! I am flying Air Tahiti Nui - do this should be a new and hopefully enjoyable experience. I will not say goodbye to New Zealand because again my list of things to do is greater than when I arrived. The travel books warn you about this but you can't fully understand the beauty that is NZ until you are here. So who will come back here with me? and sing along to Jack Johnson in the campervan, sample some NZ wines, climb a glacier, take a boat out to Lake Taupo, have a mid bath in Rotorua ??? Any takers ???? The land of extremes has me hooked - be it the green folded hills of the North Island or the snow capped peaks of the South - I LOVE IT ! Be it high adrenaline Queenstown or laid back Lake Wanaka - I wanna see more... I have driven over 3,000 km in 3 different campervans - ranging from a Toyota Hi Ace to a Luxuey HUGE 4 Berth. I have been buffeted by winds, drenched by rain, covered in snow and blessed with sunshine. I have seen the night sky so clear you feel you could reach up and touch the milky way. This trip is supposed to be getting this out of my system - but I just end up wanting more. My flight is now being called. So off to the French Polynesia.
