After breakfast Fred, Lyn, Stan and I went for a walk around the block. We then joined the Crossthwaites for some sun and fun...had a swim with Lyn, played the throw golf ball game, chatted. lyn, Stan and us got up a bit late...after 3 trips to the grocery store we had a pancake and maple syrup breakfast...yum, yum! Then Kortney and Kim arrived.....we had a nice visit before alana and family arrived. Linda and Wayne arrived after lunch and had a sandwich and good chat with us. We sat in front yard and enjoyed the children playing. I had 3 long swims...with myself, alana and Wayne....lovely warm day. Lyn, Stan and I left at 4 to go see Calabogie Peaks...

Well we got to near Manotick to pick them up from Lyns cousin and then raced to town. It was raining in Manotick but sunny in Ottawa! We got there for 9:30 to see the Changing of the guards and they really liked it. We then took a tour of the parliament buildings which was very informative. Debbie and I went swimming from Moms to Jockos at 7:30 am...lake was flat as a pancake! And half way there it poured rain. Poor Peter had to wear a life jacket over his head to keep dry! But 1 3/4 hour later, and a big dose of calf cramps, we made it to shore and sat in one of the coloured chairs at Jockos! Cold day...back to moms to sit by fire and then for a game of bridge with mom, bev and Cathy. I did not feel well so went home and to bed...was really cold......

Peter and crew went to Ottawa for day and mom had bridge. Fred and I went for a bike ride and a walk around block. We had nibblies with Peter and Debbie when they got back. Susan and Barry showed them their new house! Very nice Home for dinner and cards with culhanes and Cathy, tom and dan
