LINDA'S TALES OF TRAVEL AND OTHER CATASTROPHES
Our final major destination was Amsterdam. It poured rain for much of the time we were there but it didn't dampen our spirits (hmmm, sorry for the cliche).
On our free day in Amsterdam I went and saw the Anne Frank House Museum which was really impressive. Other than that just wondered around the town and sussed out some of the local 'attractions'.
Our last night together involved a feed of Chinese food and a booze cruise along the river - and it stopped raining for a minute - yey! It was quite sad that the tour was nearly over, the last week went really fast.
On the was home to London on the 15th we stopped off at Belgium to buy chocolates with our leftover Euros (not a bad way to get rid of loose change). It was raining really heaving (and we'd had such nice weather up until Amsterdam!) so we didn't really look around more than the chocolate shop.
Onto the ferry home toward the white cliffs of dover (which I have to say aren't really that exciting) and the tour came to a close. I met some awesome people though and some of them are hanging around in London for a while so there will be plenty more fun times to come!
Hope you've all enjoyed my travels, stories, photos etc. Keep in touch, missing you all!
