Stage one East Coast: Spent 27 days travelling up the east coast from Brisbane to Cairns Australian weather not what was promosied and had only 5 days of sunshine maybe in total which when travelling in a campavan is hard Lucked out in a few places meeting people and staying at there houses in Noosa and 1770 (Amazing house with of a retired banker great shampagine and prawns!!) Got some goot kitesurfing done especially in Bowen and Townsville I can now ride up wind consistanly and turn most times in up to about 25 Knotts with my 11m and a bit more when borrowing a smaller kite. Travelled with a Girl Siaan From NZ which was nice and she kept me on the straght and narrow as a te-totoal Vegitarian so healthy food and limited boose i know dad will like that part! Unfortunatly i did not get to go sailing in WhitSundays as weather too bad which was kinda rubbish!! also picked up 2 speeding tickets in Byron $221 and pop booooo....
Stage 2 Red centre: Flew from Cainrs to Alice springs (not such a nice place really but a base to do my 3 day Rock tour from where i went to Ayres rock, Katajuta and kings cannion which were all spectacular... even slept under the starts in swags which was a little scary cos of snakes ans spiders etc. but really amazing!
Stage 3: Alice to Darwin Relocation: Did a relocation campavan from Alice to dawrin in 4 days with an English Girl and a German Guy (NOT MY KIND OF PEOPLE...) did get to drive a huge 4WD Toyota land cruser the whole way which was good fun but eneted in an expensive mistake of putting 50l of petrol in a desiel engine :-( yes a $518 mistake not the highlight of my trip thats for sure!!
Stage 4 Darwin to Perth: Currently on a road trip with two german girls 23 and 27 from Darwin to Perth which has been great appart from Not speeking German and the girls persistance to jabber away between themselves in German which is getting annoying! went to Litfeild NP and Karajini NP which are both amazing and currently in Gerelton about to start last stint to Perth B4 off to NZ........
