Since last blog have completed the great ocean road with an unfortunte end in the Grampions as most of the national park was closed due to a land slide.... Although of course we did not realsie this till we had driven miles and miles out of our way!! Ended up camping in small campsite in woods where unfortunatly we got bittern quite extensively but on the up side we did finaly have toasted marshmellows on and open fire that I made from scrath!!

Spend last weekend in melbourne at Pauls house (a friend of Adeans) which was nice as real shower and double bed to share with Rach again so not quote that lucky... Ride day on Sunday was canclled boooo as guess why, no wind again!! So brought my kite travel bag for $179 and packed up ready for Brisbane!!

Arrived on 28th to a steamy hot 30 degrees at 3pm now this is more like it... Stayed at city Hostel in town for 2 nights where I met Merl (my lucky charm in the photo above as THE luckest travellor) took my kite to Sandgate beach for the day on Tuesday perfect 2km beach with 15-20 knotts consistant wind and only 6-7 kites all day.... Had amazing time, learnt so much and my riding is much better can even go upwind!! now it's time for a different harness and no walk of shame back up the beach every time.

Found a flat in Sandgate on gumtree to be close to the beach with an English guy for $125 a week... And I have a double bed, en suit and huge walk in wardrobe for all those clothes I don't now have as made the sacrafise of clothes to be able to take my kite kit to Brisbane as only allowed 23kg of which 16kg is now kitesuring gear!!

Another day on the water today 10-15 so struggled a little at first to say up on the board but soon improved again, tried a waste harness from the shop and loved it, soooo much more comfy shame it is $279 think I might have to shop around!!
