Now this is much more like it.... Today braved LA public transport down to Santa Monica and Venis beach 20 degrees good wind perfect cross on shore conditions but not a kite surfer in sight!! Did have a go on the high trapeeze in trapeeze school on Santa Monica pier which was great fun even manage to get inverted! Arrived safe in LA spoke to my first wierdo Brit of the tip who managed to attach himself to me on the bus ride to union station!! But lost him going onto metro so all good!! Now just about to enjoy a burger and beer in Hollywood... Not quite how I imagined it!! USA hostel is nice clean and very friendly so should be a good resting point for the next few days...
