Ok so i've been working for nearly 2 weeks now and the job is slowly getting better, im working in Azure two days a week running the breakfast when sunbae has his days off the rest of the time i work in bakery pastery and pot ally. Arriving on the island was an experence, we landed on hamilton island, which apparently is the budget version of hayman, and all of our luggage was taken for us and put on the boat and then we got on board this luxury yaht type thing called sungoddess and were taken to Hayman. When we landed at hayman all the guests got off first (i forgot to mention that because its a 5* resort we had to where like a shirt and dress shorts and be clean shaven and have neat hair or we weren't getting on the island) and then we were met by HR who took us to the staff village where we filled out paperwork and stuff. I moved into my room and met my room mate mirko, a german chef, he was alright preety hard to understand him sometimes and i don't think he understood me but oh well, oh and he was always asking if i was going to the bar even though he wasn't i think he was trying to get me out of the room. In the eve we check out the staff bar or the "Sandbar" it preety good there's free pool but it takes ages to get on the table, we played a bit of dance n then went to bed, it had been a pretty nackering day. Next day was orientation, a very long talk about all the things on the island, but there were free really nice cookies and a free drink at the end so that made it bareable! I started work the next day, Anjan (the boss) had me traning with this guy Sunbae from korea, who i again found it difficult to understand, which isn't good when hes trying to teach me stuff! It went ok IRD (In Room Dining) was way to hot though i was sweating like a PIG. The first 2 weeks has gone well quick went to Airly the other day and brought a guitar and did a drop off two langford island to go snorkling that was amazing! Hopefully going on anouther one this week.
