Right I arrived in san jose like 2 days ago i start my school tomorrow which i can't wait for because my host family speaks no english! The flight here was very long and annoying i had to change 4 times it went adelaide-sydney-la-dallas-san jose! I almost missed one of the flights as well cause my sydney to La flight was delayed. But i got here in the end. I was picked up at the airport by a really nice woman who could speak a little bit of english so i was thinking this will be fine, but then i arrived at my host familly and they could speak no englsh. I had my first lie in in ages the next morning i slept till 1! I then managed to tell my Tica mum that i wanted to go to the beach, little did i know it was 2 hours away and i would have to spend a night in the town next to the beach, so i ended up buying the ticket, getting ripped off there, then having to take it back and getting ripped off again and spending the rest of the day wondering round what i thought to be central san jose, i later found out it was the most dangerous part of the city (coca cola, I don't know if you ever had to go there Gary or Carren but its not nice), and i was on my own, I mannaged to survive thou and got a taxi back to my neighbourhood, but it then took me an hour to find my house, that was not a good day. Today was much better i actually managed to find central san jose which was much more like what i expected it to be. I went to the Gold museum and bumped into a couple of girls that were going to my language school, i was so glad about this cause i'd felt really on my on up untill then. I went and had a coffee in the national grand hotel and then headed back to get some sleep before school.
