Morning
Hows it all going? Its about time we have an Aussie journal entry! I'm really jealous to hear you are going to see the Kaiser Chiefs, thats going to be awesome, almost as good as seeing the gas in the Millennium Stadium.
I went to the casino after leaving the Lizard Lounge on Friday, costly mistake! Poker at 4am is not a good idea.
Looking forward to meeting up with you all in May. The Nine Inch Nails are playing in Sydney on 10th - apparently they are very good live.
Jon - Where are you working? What's the food like?
Laj - Any news on the flat/apartment or are you still in the hostel?
Chris - Is the German girl hot? (sorry Kathryn)
Luke - Get some +44 photos on the Photo Album!
Cheers
Maggsy

Hey
Yes I'm hard at work while the others are preparing tea and cleaning our room.lol. The cooking has'nt gone too well, luke buttered some hot cross buns for me and thats about it. Oh well
Not sure how long the post is, working for a real estate company. Its ok, a small bit of selling which is fun but I'm certainly not working hard. Office environment in OZ is totally different, a very relaxed attitude. I have just been using there phone and texting on their computer. Also I have magazines to read too. Not sure how long I'm going to work there, might only work upto Friday.
Should be a good weekend, its a bank holiday here which is cool. A free bbq on Friday!!!! ohhhhhhhhhh
Speak to u all soon

Sounds as though Jon is in the lead with getting a job, well done!!!
Luke this is not, I repeat not, time for slacking and living off Jon. I assume you will have now adopted the role of 'housewife' (not that you have had any experience in this of course!). This includes preparing a tasty meal for the hard worker when he returns home from work and supplying him with a pipe (as I did notice one photo with cigarette in hand) and slippers.
What a week 'I have had'.... I was at a meeting at Derby with the Engineering Director and during the session, I was asked to take over running the slide show as the 'presenter (my boss) had to attend an urgent meeting. I swapped seats and took control of her lap-top which was used to run slide show. At the end the meeting I looked around for my bosses lap-top case, popped it in along with the leads and asked one of my colleagues to take case back to the office which was quiet a distance for where meeting was held (as I wanted to escape back to Bristol to beat the traffic). However, as I was thanking the Directors secretary for the help during meeting, the Engineering Director come out of the meeting room and said his brief case had gone missing!!! Guess who had made a big mistake and assumed my boss had actually bought 'her' lap-top in a bag? Moral of this story is don't assume that if a bag contains a 'big girlie pink folder' it is actually owned by a woman. Perhaps the size of case and the fact it did not actually have a dedicated space for a lap-top means I should have noticed somthing was not quiet right. Mind you it was very large and had plenty of space for lap-top and leads. Was I glad to make my escape from Derby!
Have gud day cobbers
