We arrived at 4 am from the overnight train into Hanoi then a bus journey to Ha Long Bay.

Had to hang around to check in... Nightmare again. We went on a boat trip around the bay. It was really foggy which slightly spoiled the view but it was still stunning. Thousands of limestone rocks dotted in the sea. We went on the caves of ones of the islands. It was absolutely huge, felt like I was in the goonies and put wookie hole to shame.

After dinner we went to a local karaoke bar. We hired out our own booth and everyone got involved. Much laughing and much vodka. Few of the girls ended up in a dead bar, it's not the most lively town so we brought the party.... And the hangover.
