Day 1 continued and day 2....

We hit mbk the giant shopping centre with style, bought fake jewellery and got our phones unlocked in true Asian style. The place is massive! About 7 stories high with stall after stall of the same things, I'm itching to buy a fake handbag. Must be restrained....

We had a full on Thai feast for dinner in siam square and after fighting our way back through the night Market we crashed into bed and slept for a welcome 12 hours.

Had lots of plans for day 2 but having not woken up til lunch time these went out the window. So we ambled around the corner to JIM thompson's house. It's a beautiful old style Thai house. A true oasis in the mayhem of Bangkok. Ate some rice out of a pineapple (standard) then back for a browse of the guide book to plan our evening activities.
