Arrived at the 'Blue City' on 27th Jan. We did a tour of the Meherangarh Fort using the audio guide (as recommended) which was actually pretty good, the voiceover was hilarious - an extremly plummy Indian guy!! The best fort we have seen and great views of the city.

Next day we went to Jaswant Thada a memorial for some Maharaja as you can usually get great photo's of teh Fort but the weather was not great so the photo's were pretty rubbish. We did have breakfast at an omlette shop in the middle of the main crossroads in the city. We sat outside on plastic stools while rickshaws, people, cars, trucks, buses and even cow's wandered past - only in India!! We also had a delicious omlette sandwich with masala - not our usual breafast but pretty tasty!
