Hello!

After visting Ko Samui and Phuket where we just layed on the beach and Emily left us for Australia we went to Phi Phi. We booked a 4 day scuba diving course, first of all we learnt how to breath underwater and learnt different skills, it was quite scary at first but once we got used to it we were pros! The next day we went out into the open water next to the island where they filmed 'the Beach'and dived 12meters and done more safety skills but also got to see some of the reef and beautiful fish! On the third day we back out to the open water and dived 16meters, we got to see a stingray and turtle! With all this we had lots of theory to learn every night which felt like we were back at school! We passed so we are now qualified in a padi open water, whay! In the evening we went out and celebrated quite a few times!!

We visited the 2004 tsunami memorial park which was really sad as there were soo many lives lost but they have managed to bulid the island back up and make it look incredible again.

Phi Phi was our favourate island in Thailand as it was like being in paradise, the sea was clear with golden sand! not a car or moped in sight, the island was so small you could walk around it in half an hour. The food was amazing, we met loads of people, it was a really good island.
