Hey!

We booked a tour called on the wallaby which was was up in the table lands an hour from Cairns. The first day we went to see the cathedral fig tree, which was three trees entwined with each other making it huge! Next we went for a rainforest walk looking for native wildlife, we stopped off at lake Barrine for lunch and for a swim then drove to Millaa Millaa waterfall. This is where Peter Andre filled mysterious girl video and herbal essences adverts were also filmed here, it was the best waterfall we've seen on our travels but also the coldest! In the evening we arrived at our hostel which was lovely and homely with thick douvets! That evening we went platypus spotting and a BBQ for dinner.

The next day we went and saw the curtain fig tree which was also entwined then we went on a 3 hour bike ride through the table land countryside which was really hard but such good fun. We stopped at a a couple of waterfalls and lakes and spotted a baby python. Next we went on a canoe at lake tinaroo where we got to see tree kangaroos and other wildlife, we stopped and found aboriginal ochre clay and painted our faces then made it back to our hostel for fruit and cookies!

A couple days later we went scuba diving on the great barrier reef, we dived once and snorkeled twice, the whole trip was really good but we were a little disappointed at the reef as it was the same as thailand, we were expecting a lot more and didn't see a shark or any other scary things!
