Hello!

Airlie beach is a party town full of backpackers most of time here was spent laying by the lagoon or going out drinking. This is where people depart for whitsundays, which is where you pick a boat to sail around the islands, see amazing beaches, snorkel and spend 2 nights on a boat. Whitsundays is one of the best things to do in Australia but the lovely lady who booked our tour gave us the worse boat. It was a sailing boat where we were made to help sail and due to the boat being a racing boat we had to sit on one side holding on for dear life and the sail would block the sun the whole time so we were dressed for winter sitting on the boat, the crew were rude and to top it off we got bed bugs again! But the beaches, food and snorkeling were good.
