Monday 20th March - Arrived in Phangan around midday after a 50min ferry crossing to meet lots of crazy Thai people trying to sell accommodation. Our bible (the lonely planet) told us not to go with these people as they are paid on commission and take you to places on the other side of the island with no electricity. Saturday 18th March - Spent the day walking around Chawang Beach and trying to book different bits and bobs. It is a really busy, family, tourist place so lots of shopping, Irish pubs and towls on the beach by 6am!
