Wednesday 8th February - Up early to say goodbye to our friends also in a colouful van. Then off to a seal colony where you can wonder along the beach and take photos of them. Thursday 1st February - Spent the day in Dunedin, driving to the tip of the coast to see yellow eyed penguins, sea lions and a castle. What we didnt realise was that you had to pay lots to see all of these things so we didnt bother! Next time I have a picture of a penguin I will just draw yellow circles around its eyes!! Wednesday 24th January - Made it onto the ferry ok and took about 3 hours to get to the South Island. Arrived in Picton but decided to Drive to Nelson. Monday 29th January - Left Queenstown early and made our way to Milford Sound. It was a bit of a drive there so we stopped briefly in a town called Te Anau for a bite and a loo stop and then continued our drive. There are lots of donation camp sites along the way, which are vital since there are no camping parks to stop at. Tuesday 23rd January - Spending the day walking around the city and updating the website - pouring with rain so limited for things to do today - hate the weather here!!!! Off to the South Island tomorrow by ferry takes about 2-3 hours!
