I got back from safari on saturday. I was in a group of four and none of us knew each other but we all got on really well. We went to tarangire national park, the ngorogoro crater and lake manyara national park. Saw so many animals!! Got about 2m away from a pride of lions, very close to elephants and wildebeast. Also saw loads of hippos and were priviledged to also be surrounded by a group of 15 giraffes which made some great photos! It was a great trip but...

I made it to the top of Kilimanjaro! I reached Uhuru peak at 7.30am on Sunday 24th May after a 7 and a half hour hike to the top! I arrived at the hotel I was booked into the night before my trek to find that the two people I was meant to be climbing with had cancelled and so I would be climbing by myself!
