I am back at home in Reigate now remembering everything I have done and going through the 3500 pictures I managed to take! I'm already thinking about my next trip, perhaps to Australia to see everyone I met from there, maybe Europe too and back to South America....... so many more countries I want to see!

Arrived into Lima at midnight and went straight to the Point Hostel in Barranco suburb where we had a reservation. We got a bus from Nazca to Ica after we had our fill of sunbathing. We then got a taxi to Huacachina which is a tiny town around an oasis in the middle of the desert! We found a great hostel called santaterria which had really cheap rooms. We booked our sandboarding trip for the next afternoon and then went to find some dinner. We got a day bus from Arequipa to Nazca. This was the best bus I had been on since Argentina. We got blankets, pillows, food and there was a film on in english that we watched! We arrived in Nazca at around 5pm and checked into a hotel which was right opposite the bus station and had a pool. We went in the economy room so it worked out pretty cheap! We arrived in Arequip aat 6am on Sunday morning and booked straight onto a two day tour of the Colca Canyon. This si the deepest canyon in the world at 4160m (twice as deep as the grand canyon although its walls are not as steep).
